Questions?

Pricing FAQ

How is Viduli cheaper than AWS?

Multiple factors contribute to lower costs - 100% CPU/RAM allocation to your services (vs ~85% on AWS due to OS overhead), included features that AWS charges extra for (load balancers, monitoring, data transfer), and zero DevOps overhead eliminating the need for expensive cloud architects. Most importantly, you save $150k+ annually by not needing a dedicated DevOps engineer.

What's included in the instance price?

Everything you need - auto-scaling, load balancing, health checks, SSL certificates, monitoring, real-time logs, metrics, data transfer within your project, automatic backups (for databases), and more. Unlike AWS where each feature incurs separate charges, Viduli includes them all.

Is there a minimum commitment or contract?

No! Just like AWS, there are no upfront commitments or annual contracts. Start with any amount, scale up or down as needed. Billing is per-second (1-minute minimum) based on actual usage.

What does "100% resource allocation" mean?

On AWS EC2 or EKS, about 10-15% of your CPU and RAM goes to the operating system, kubelet, and system services. With Viduli, 100% of the resources you pay for are allocated directly to your applications—no OS overhead. If you pay for 2 vCPU, your app gets all 2 vCPU.

How does billing work?

You're billed per-second of resource usage with a 1-minute minimum, just like AWS. At the end of each month, you pay for exactly what you used. No surprises, no hidden fees. Real-time cost estimates are available in the dashboard as you configure resources.

Are there any additional charges?

External data transfer (egress to the internet) is charged at $0.10 per GB. Everything else—load balancers, monitoring, internal data transfer, SSL, backups—is included. Compare this to AWS where load balancers cost ~$20/month each, monitoring costs add up quickly, and inter-AZ data transfer is $0.01-0.02 per GB.

Can I still use Viduli if I scale very large?

Absolutely! Our pricing remains competitive at any scale. In fact, the operational savings (no DevOps team, no management overhead) become even more significant as you scale. For enterprise needs, contact us for volume pricing and dedicated support.

Do you offer discounts for startups or education?

Yes! New users get $40 in free credits to get started. For startups, non-profits, and educational institutions looking for $300+ in credits, contact us at [email protected] with details about your project.

How do costs compare for a real-world application?

For a typical startup running 5 microservices, a PostgreSQL database, and Redis cache, you'd pay around $600/month on Viduli vs $1,200+/month on AWS (including all the hidden charges). Plus you save $150k+/year by not needing a DevOps engineer. That's over 95% total savings.
